Abigail, Caroline, Claire and…..Jimmy Buffet!

Brendan and I had so much fun with these girls! I see Caroline and Claire pretty much everyday at the pool but it was really fun to get to capture the girls hanging out together. They are such a wonderful family and I am blessed to know them.

When we got to downtown West Palm for the shoot, there were cars parked everywhere. I called my mom in law to ask her if she knew why (she lives downtown) and she said that Jimmy Buffet was doing a concert! It was an unexpected treat. They even got to meet him after the shoot

Tiffany and Jay’s Wedding- West Palm Beach Wedding Photographer

Hi Everyone!

I’m really excited about this post because this was a very special wedding for us to shoot. I have been meeting with Tiffany for the past year- we read, talk and pray and share yummy coffee at Starbucks! I can’t say enough about her. We are meeting tomorrow to catch up *post wedding* and I can’t wait!!! I really missed her these last couple of weeks!!!! She is such a wonderful woman and I’m sure that she will make an amazing wife!

Jay is a great guy and he loves and cares for Tiff so much! You know what’s really cool? They met in high school (we actually took a couple of pics by the lockers where they met!!!) And their relationship has matured into a strong and lasting bond.

This is Grace Fellowship, it’s my church and I love it!!!! And that’s our Pastor. I am blessed beyond belief to be a member here and I truly mean that! Tiff and Jay both come from wonderful families and it was really cool when their families gathered around them for prayer at the beginning of the ceremony.

This is Kenneth, Tiff’s dad. He is an unbelievable wedding planner. We see a good amount of weddings…but what Kenneth did, oh man-my jaw dropped when I walked into the reception. It was just breathtaking!!! He did such a fabulous job.

Katherine Promised to Bryan- South Florida Wedding Photographer

Katherine and Bryan’s wedding was on the same day that Tropical Storm Bonnie made landfall!!! We prayed for good weather as we prepared to shoot that day and in the afternoon the skies cleared and it was a gorgeous day at the Jupiter Beach Resort and Spa!

Katherine is such a stunning girl, and seeing her that day really took your breath away! She was just radiant and her dress and hair and makeup choices…oh I can’t say enough about how great she looked!!!

I’m writing from Minnasota! We are visiting friends here and I was able to get on the internet for a bit so I thought I’d share Caro and Sam’s maternity session! These two are so cute together. They are so excited because they are having twins girls!!!! (I always thought it would be so cool to have twins)

This was such a fun e-session! I shot Shannon’s family photos for Mother’s Day this year so I was really looking forward to seeing her again and meeting John her fiance. They are such a cute couple!!!! And they picked wonderful places for their session. John is such a talented guitar player so Guitar Center was an excellent choice. Can’t wait for the wedding you two!

Jared, Amber and little Moses

Jared and Amber are such a great couple. The last time they were here, little Moses was just a baby. Now he’s seven and a half months!!! Time is really flying. We really miss them so it’s wonderful to see them

A Little Rest Goes a Loooong Way

A month ago I was feeling so overwhelmed. My mouth has a hard time saying ‘no’ to things-something that my body doesn’t much like about my mouth. It got to the point that I knew I needed to make a change. I was especially feeling convicted because through the Bible and people in my life, I knew that God required us to trust Him and REST! So Brendan and I decided that we would manage our time better by planning times for rest. It’s never something I usually plan for unless we have a vacation, but it’s come to my attention that if I don’t plan rest, I’ll inevitably find something to work on or something to schedule.

Ever since we started this little “project” I’m feeling a lot more rested and less stressed about things. I felt that scheduling a day or two of rest would really put me behind in work, but since God has commanded us to rest, He has also been faithful in providing help in every situation just like He said he would.

Our first little planned day was in June. Brendan and I drove to Saint Augustine for the day. It was so much fun. We walked the streets and explored all the one-of-a-kind stores, read about the history and saw a canon go off, and we ate dinner at a restaurant that looked like a house with a huuuuge open deck right on the creek. Happy 5 Years B!

So, this is a little late, but I’ve had this post in mind for a little while July 1st was Brendan and my five year anniversary! It’s so hard to believe that it’s been five years, time is flying! I’m so happy to be married to Brendan! He just brought me some strawberries and Nutella for breakfast :) that’s what a great guy he is. My favorite thing, is that he is honestly my best friend. I love just hanging out with him, just chillin’ at the house. He makes me laugh so much and I truly believe that he’s the funniest at home when it’s just to two of us. Another thing I love about him is how he is always willing to change and work on things. He isn’t all “this is me so deal with it!” He always wants to be better.

We met at church about 7 years ago, and I just loved his passion for Jesus and how we wanted to live for God. The number one thing that makes our marriage work is God-it’s by His grace. Sometimes we can get so mad about something and then when we take time to pray about it, it’s amazing how God works things out.

Well, I guess what I want to say is…Brendan I love you. Thanks for a great 5 years my dear

Mommy, Daddy and Big Sis

Brendan and I have had the pleasure of working with this wonderful fam on a few occasions. On the way to the session, I was thinking about the first time we met Sommer to talk about her wedding and now we’re actually getting to photograph maternity pics for them! It’s a huge blessing to get to be a part of the special moments in someone’s life-especially these guys!

Paul is really funny and kept his girls laughing through the whole session, and Kam…well she’s a little model just like her stunning mommy.
