Emilio and Mayra’s wedding was really beautiful. Brendan and I had a wonderful time taking pictures. All of their groomsmen and bridesmaids were so super super friendly. You could tell that Mayra and Emilio were so happy to be getting married and their ceremony and recetion were so God-centered.

Right now I’m hard at work on the new kalialily.com! I’m very excited about it (altough I will miss my current website because my dad and I worked on it together.)
I will let you know when the new site comes up! Right now I’m still thinking, planning, cropping, writing, experimenting, editing, photoshop CS2ing, loving, laughing and breathing!
Also coming soon! My two week vacation. YAYAYYAYAY!!! I’m so so so excited for this break. We’re driving up the east coast and visiting all kinds of cool cities. I promise I’ll take lots of pictures. Mayra and Emilio are such a cute couple! It was evident from the beginning that Emilio was so careful and protective of his future bride. There were so many precious moments of all out genuine laughter during our shoot.
Sort of a side note. When Mayra laughed she reminded me so much of my cousin Diana. Does that ever happen to you? You feel like you know someone because they do something that looks so familiar to you?
We took some pictures at the beach and then moved onto the street. (I was eventually covered in sand)

This precious little guy is my nephew Tyler Shawn! He is such a good baby! Unfortunately he got his first ever cold before our session. Even though he wasn’t feeling well, he was so good for us.
Tyler was making us all laugh with his cuteness…and watch eating.

July 1st, (Canada Day) Brendan and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been three years. It’s flown by so fast.
I love my Brendan.
For the past 5 years my husband Brendan and I have been blessed with the wonderful friendship of Misty and Chad. All the board games we’ve played together, all those sweet girl talks with Misty, and our Bible Studies have been so great. And I’m very sad because they are moving away! It’s slowing sinking in that they won’t be here any more :( I actually cried on the way home from our session.
We couldn’t have asked for better light. A cloud covered the sun for us right at the perfect time! Then, just as we where finishing, the sun came out and it got so hot and sweaty out.
Chad and Misty wanted to do the session for their 6 year anniversary and Misty chose the beach for the location because once they move to North Carolina, they won’t be living near the beach anymore.
